As a non-profit organization, the German Clothing Foundation has been collecting, sorting and distributing used and new clothing for more than 60 years. With the clothing donations and the proceeds from recycling, they support clothing stores and social projects at home and abroad.

Report damage, garbage deposits, etc. in public spaces
The instrument “Ordnungsamt-Online” (also as an APP) provided by the state of Berlin enables all citizens to report disturbances in public spaces, such as defective traffic lights, pavement, illegal garbage dumping and much more. These are forwarded to the responsible authorities and, on average, within one Fixed week.
Cigarette butt collection system
Tobacycle recycles butts restless– including ash and toxins. The butts are recycled into sprayable granules. This creates containers for the collection system. All manufactured products can be used againcompletebe given for recycling. This creates amore closedRecycling cycle.
With a membership (e.g. as a private household, clean up group, organizer, etc.) you receive collection containers that are picked up and emptied free of charge once a year.
Regional & seasonal products
Marktschwarmer creates regional networks of producers and consumers. The goals are direct access to regional food for everyone and fair pay for the people who make it. Marktschwarmer is part of the social movement for sustainable agriculture and fairer economic activity.
In Treptow-Köpenick there are crushes in Adlershof, Friedrichshagen, Johannisthal, Köpenick, Mahlsdorf-Süd (under construction), Schöneweide.
Free paddling for collecting trash on the water
GreenKayak is a non-governmental environmental organization that involves kayaking volunteers in the fight against pollution. Anyone can paddle for free if they collect trash from the water and share the experience on social media using #GreenKayak.
In Treptow-Köpenick there are stations in Schöneweide (Funkhaus) and Köpenick (Mellowpark).

Commitment close to nature
The Treptow-Köpenick local group of the German Nature Conservation Association actively takes care of, among other things, an amphibian protection fence in Rahnsdorf, various flowering meadows and nesting boxes. Anyone who would like to help with this is always welcome.
Arranging volunteer positions
Since 2008, Sternenfischer has been promoting volunteer work in southeast Berlin. Among other things, it acts as an interface between those helping and corresponding institutions in a wide variety of fields of activity. If you would like to get involved and do good, this is the right place for you.
